This series of drawings was done after the installation of the
Wall Drawing at Smith.
Their underlying concept is simply about direction [up, down, around, etc.], based on the same invisible dividing line between the two sides of the drawing. The result of this exploration is a wonderful unpredictable symmetry, the evolution of which is on going. These are all colored pencil on gouache on rag paper. |
