The best display of this series of nine drawings is in a grid, three drawings by three drawings. These are all ink on raw rag paper. The ink is absorbed into the paper rather than resting on a surface as would be if the paper were primed with gouache paint. As a result, the imagery is wispy and organic and evokes the idea of wind blowing through leaves or water currents moving seaweed. |
